Emma | Sundance Studio

Emma Shepherd is the weaver behind Sundance Studio. She works from the Mornington Peninsula surrounded by eucalypts, lush gardens and her horses. Emma’s practice is one that honours the ancient craft of weaving while welcoming the inputs of her contemporary surroundings. She uses hand spun yarn, found fibres and other natural materials with the resulting works breathtakingly detailed, textural and tactile.
